Objective: to generate commitment so that people work towards the development/implementation of an idea
Summary: indicate through physical distance whether you feel committed to the realization of a concept
Duration: at least 10 minutes
Number of participants: unlimited
Description of the activity:
One person indicates that he wants to develop a particular concept further. This is the problem owner. The other people stand at a certain distance from the problem owner. By asking questions about the action plan for the concrete development of the concept, people can move closer or further away from the problem owner. Consequently, the action plan is concretized and the problem owner gets an idea of the level of commitment from the other participants. By adjusting certain aspects of the action plan, this level of commitment can be increased or decreased.
Tips & directions:
It is not necessary for every participant to commit himself to a solution. The participants who have to work with the solution are the most important.
